David Suzuki Foundation

Since 1990, the David Suzuki Foundation has worked to find ways for society to live in balance with the natural world that sustains us. Focusing on four program areas – oceans and sustainable fishing, climate change and clean energy, sustainability, and the Nature Challenge - the Foundation uses science and education to promote solutions that conserve nature and help achieve sustainability within a generation.

Sierra Youth Coalition

The Sierra Youth Coalition is an organization run by youth and for youth, serving as the youth arm of the Sierra Club of Canada. With mission to empower young people to become active community leaders who contribute to making Canada a more sustainable society. To this end, they educate young people about ecological and social sustainability; challenge unjust and environmentally destructive systems by using a solutions-based approach; and advocate for the new generation of people in Canada who want to inherit a world: where social justice and the environment are at the center of society’s priorities.

Public Service Alliance of Canada

PSAC believes the needs of people should come first and that includes ensuring a clean environment. Our governments have a responsibility to stop the degradation of our environment and to promote a better, more sustainable quality of life.

The environment, the economy and social programs are issues that affect us all. PSAC advocates for our collective role in protecting the environment, promoting an economy that benefits everyone and expanding social programs to strengthen our communities from coast to coast to coast.

PSAC members can be found working in federal government departments and agencies across the country, as teaching and research assistants on university campuses, in Aboriginal communities, in women’s shelters and transition houses, and in communities across Canada’s North.

An advocate not just for our membership but for all Canadians, PSAC works to achieve a compassionate and inclusive society and a better world. Through our Social Justice Fund, PSAC also facilitates anti poverty and development work both in Canada and internationally.

Climate Project-Canada

The Climate Project-Canada is a non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity dedicated to educating the public about climate change through presentations by trained volunteers. Our hope is that by raising the awareness of our fellow citizens about this crisis and informing them about potential solutions, all of us, together, can preserve the climate balance on which our planet depends.
